At Bayteck Systems, we are a company who work and breathe the compressed air industry. We offer a full range of services on all makes, models & product types within the industry. We have an opportunity for a Service Technician to join our friendly, respected team, based in Hamilton. Our successful candidate will be required to service and complete maintenance of Air Compressors and pneumatic equipment as well as other tools and equipment. You'll be required to respond to customer plant machinery breakdown calls, carry out plant maintenance and install airline systems. Essential skills and knowledge include: - Self-motivated, reliable and focused - Strong mechanical skills with the ability diagnose machines such as compressors - Electrical knowledge would be very beneficial - Pneumatic skills will be an asset - Ability to relate to a wide range of people from all backgrounds in a professional manner - Knowledge of compressed air industry, compressed air tools and equipment - Able to make considered decisions under pressure and time constraints - Current class 1 NZ drivers licence - Current fork hoist licence - Have a good understanding of the HSE Act A competitive remuneration package is on offer.
